DHAKA: A LED stumps innovator Bronte EcKermann said that players have not permission to uproot the LED stumps after getting victory in the World Twenty20 matches.
EcKermann further said that he has only 32 stumps and 40 bails for the tournament and each bail cost is equal to iPhone.
“Well, this is a very costly system. The entire set-up during a match costs USD 40,000, so I will not allow the players to uproot it during any celebrations,” he added.
But he said that if Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni can wins the title of World T20 then he will give a LED stumps to him as a souvenir.
