ISLAMABAD – Launch of 3G and 4G technology in near future is confirmed as Pakistan TelecommunicationAuthority has announced reward system system for its staff linked with performance.
Last week, Information Technology Ministry has confirmed the auctioning of 3G and 4G technology in mid of April.
The matter of auctioning has been in pending for many years in a time when smartphone boom has hit the country and world. Pakistan is still on 2G, whereas, many countries have already been using 4G technology.
PTA, the regulatory authority of telecom sector, has announced a unique offer for its staff linking ‘Cash Reward’ for its staff after 3G and 4G launch.
The announcement indicates that auction has been confirmed at the governmental level.
The auctioning of the technology will roll in billions of dollars to the country besides boosting the economy and country in so many ways.
